Field Journey

Usually I wouldn't be doing this even though this pay per view has established itself for being an important. The 20th of June is my birthday and STARDOM will doing their Conversion PPV on my birthday.  Even though I thought of not doing this blog, but I decided to do it. And there are quite a lot of important story beats which include new chapters beginning while some of the older chapters might be coming to an end. I know I should relax since it's my birthday coming up, but I decided to do my usual predictions.  So with all that being said, let's roll with it. [Pre-Show]: High Speed Champion Yuna Mizumori vs Matoi Hamabe The pre-show sets the tone for the show, but joshi wrestling or Puroresu as a whole have an interesting style of pre-shows that reels you easy before the mind gets blown. High Speed Champion Yuna Mizumori and Matoi Hamabe are two people who seem to be doing things after the pay per view. Besides the recent title challenge Yunamon had with Sakura and Natsu...

[ZERO & ACID Sponsored Production] The last time we touched on "The CEO" Mercedes Mon é, we were talking about her reign as IWGP Women's Champion. It was similar to Syuri's 1st reign (& current champion) where all three matches that being she won, defended & lost were all solid to good. This time, we will be talking another title reign she had from New Japan. This time, it is the second tier which is her home base and that's the NJPW STRONG Women's Title. The title is currently held by Alex Windsor and  Mon é is actually the longest reigning champion of the title's short history at 313 days. Being champion for this amount of time doesn't mean a reign was good. Syuri's 1st reign as IWGP Women's Champion was really good even though it was shortest reign of the belt's history. Basically, quantity doesn't equal quality.  Mercedes  Mon é had been given the ball and did what she can with it by All Elite Wrestling with her run as A...

A professional wrestler that have accomplished a lot will have developed a reputation. It can be in any circumstance like great jobber, great midcarder and a great main eventer. But the one question that will always loop over your head is this... Can You Adapt?  Credit: NJPW This is a question that is most prominent for wrestlers who departed from big companies like WWE and AEW. There is almost a test that comes immediately of what they will do next. Whether that being going to Japan, competing on the Indies or just signing to another company, can you adapt to your new environment? Mercedes Moné is one of the examples of this test. Credit: NJPW Mercedes Moné is widely known as one of the best wrestlers in the world. After her departure from WWE in 2022, the former Sasha Banks would have a ton of speculation of where her next step is. Some people said AEW at the time which had more fuel since she appeared at the first AEW All In event. The most prominent speculation was WWE when Tri...

When I was discovering STARDOM, seeing many wrestlers online opened my eyes to expand my horizons. Besides notable names like Tam Nakano, Syuri and Giulia, there are two wrestlers that caught my eye in a big way. The first being Starlight Kid, a masked luchadora who I will now refer to as a Kamen Rider. Or... Kamen Rider Kitto I guess. The second one and the subject of this blog is AZM. Or how Mercedes Mone calls her, A. Z. M. No Mercedes, it's Azumi. It may be spelt AZM, but it is pronounced Azumi. Remember that next time. So yeah, I am going to doing her 141 day reign as NJPW STRONG Women's Champion. I have been looking forward to this one since I started these NJPW STRONG Files, but I just needed to watch a few matches to get this done. So without any further a due, let's roll with it. AZM's NJPW STRONG Women's Title Reign: Mercedes Mon é (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa vs AZM (17:43) 09/05/2025 New Japan Pro-Wrestling  NJPW STRONG Women's Championship Three Way Match...

Alright everyone, I am back. I have been very busy lately, which is why I haven't been able to do any blogs lately. And I have been doing my best to keep up with wrestling with some sneaky ways, of course. So today will mark an interesting arc in my Field Journey blog as I will be doing a Filler Arc. This will be a way to make up for the lack of content over the past 6 days while trying to make a new schedule for my life. I just need to watch certain fights and catch up on some shows to keep the everything flowing without anything dry. So today will be my very first WWE blog as I will talk about Maxxine Dupri's 49 day reign as WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion.  When it comes to the women's division on both RAW and SmackDown, it's very weird and unfortunate odd ball. I don't know about you, but the RAW before Backlash having no women's matches is diabolical. Maybe this is a way of moving the division forward I guess.  However, one of the titles that has ...
