ZERO x Mihaawk: Tomoka Inaba - Exploring New Things

The world of pro wrestling has a loads of sections to search through. Much like any long running sport or franchise, there are other sorts of niches within the niche itself. This is the same feeling I had when I discovered the world of 女子プロレス (Women's Pro Wrestling). This will probably shorter than the first installment of the blog. More of the fact that I don't intend to keep you for longer than the articles I did for SickosClub.com and that I'm tired as flagrant and illiterate dumbass. And there are new match descriptions that I have in the vault that I might release for the blog later on.

My knowledge in the world of Japanese women's wrestling is... very underwhelming to be honest and it gets more underwhelming that I half-assed my commitment until now. I discovered STARDOM in 2022 when I saw highlights of two specific matches: Tam Nakano vs Giulia from Stardom 10th Anniversary ~Hinamatsuri All-Star Dream Cinderella~ and Utami Hayashishita vs. Syuri from Stardom Tokyo Dream Cinderella Special Edition which is one of my favourite matches of all time. My interest really amplified when I saw highlights of Starlight Kid and AZM online. But I started seeing a lot of stuff in Joshi promotions like STARDOM, Tokyo Joshi Pro, Sendai Girls, Sareee-ism and ICE RIBBON and diving more into the archive in 2024 till now. So despite watching a lot of great wrestling and having a lot of Joshi wrestlers in my all time favourite (that includes my Zombie G.O.A.T., Mayu Iwatani), I still have a lot of important matches to catch up on while it leads me to my first subject. And it got a YEE HAW from myself

TOMOKA INABA - DEATH KILL DIFFICULTLY

  • Age: 23 Years Old
  • Company: JTO (Pro Wrestling Just Tap Out) and World Wonder Ring Stardom
  • Trainer: TAKA Michinoku
  • Stable: God's Eye
  • Nickname: One Hit Kill
  • Signature Moves:
    • One Hit Kill
    • Tomoka Kick
    • Inaba Drop
    • Stranglehold

Tomoka Inaba is one of the plethora of Joshi wrestlers I've seen get talked online. In the world of Joshi wrestling, there are a lot of young wrestlers that already showed that they are able to keep up with adults before these girls reach adulthood. By the time that they are in their 20s, they are already experienced or seasoned veterans depending on which age they started. I have done a lot of information on Joshi wrestlers alongside their match descriptions in article installments in the past. And it can be truly eye opening for many people to read.

Tomoka Inaba is... one wrestler that I didn't had a full grasp on besides tag matches here and there. She is apart of Syuri's God's Eye stable which I have been doing their symbol randomly throughout my day for no reason. She also has a character in the Sukeban promotion called Stray Cat and that promotion seems to be gatekeeping itself for whatever reason. So I am an extreme noob to many things. But that all changed one day. There used to be a trend on X/Twitter where you have a post where you have to rate a wrestler out of 10 and your options are the other users who reply to you. Someone actually replied and gave me 6 wrestlers to rate, which is Mihaawk, the same name in the title of this. Long story short, I was recommended 6 matches of hers and it was probably the best list of matches I've seen in a while. I'm not gonna detail each one because I will be here all day. So I am gonna post each match and what rating I gave them and ramble afterwards. Cool? Great! Let's do it.

Okay, I misread the number of bouts in this one as I have watched 7 and not 6. But no worries, I can edit it later on since I have all the power of words that I can actually control for once. These matches can be seen as I see two layers in Tomoka Inaba. I know that I will sound like the most ignorant dork in the world when I said I see two layers in Tomoka Inaba's style. Her hard-hitting style can get really intense which played a heavy role in the match against Suzu Suzuki. But the biggest feature I have seen in her style is her ring awareness, which is what made the first Starlight Kid match so good and is what made the rematch perfect. Not all were fun as the only tag match on this list wasn't the best.

Overall, Tomoka Inaba is awesome and I hope this spreads a more clear message as to how awesome she is. Once again, thanks to Mihaawk for the recommendations and hope you all open your eyes to it.

YEE HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kind Regards,
ZERO (or Archer)
