Rookie Of Stardom Tournament: New Destination Fable

Now look, I know I'm very late to the party, but I am ready, I got all the cards and I got time before it starts, so I try to make this as brief as possible. 

Sooooooo... Stardom announced the Rookie Of Stardom Tournament during their 30th edition of NEW BLOOD and I am excited. Especially since I am catching up on things that I have missed for the past 2 weeks and given I saw the brackets, I am more excited. 

The way this will work is that there are 6 rookies in this single elimination tournament. Two of them will have a bye to be the second round for the next Korakuen Hall show on April 8th. The finals will take place three days later on April 11th. The rookies on the tournament are: Matoi Hamabe, Akira Kurogane (Mi Vida Loca), Yuria Hime (STARS), Anne Kanaya, Ema Maishima & Kikyo Furusawa (Itoh Respect Gundan). 

I know you might be thinking where everyone is gonna be place? That is where the colour stick game comes in from the recent Korakuen Hall show. You have probably this in anime shows or movies if you are from the west like myself. In the context of this tourney, it works like this:
  • There are two pairs of the same colour stick while there are two sticks that are different colours. 
  • If you have the same colour stick as someone else, that will be the first round match. 
  • If you have one of the two odd colour sticks, you receive a bye to the second round. 
STARS's Yuria Hime and Anne Kanaya will be facing each other in a few hours in the first round as they both have the White coloured stick. The day after that show, Matoi Hamabe will face Mi Vida Locas's Akira Kurogane as a result of both having the yellow coloured stick. Ema Maishima and Itoh Respect Gundan's Kikyo Furusawa have received byes since they both have different colours as Ema got the red stick and Kikyo got the blue stick. Since I love both Ema Maishima and Kikyo Furusawa equally like there are my family, I am very biased as I am happy they got byes.

The second round matches will work like this:
  • Ema Maishima vs Yuria Hime or Anne Kanaya 
  • Kikyo Furusawa vs Matoi Hamabe or Akira Kurogane 
Those matches will take place in Korakuen Hall on April 8th. Then the finals will be on April 11th, which for a Stardom tournament, it is surprising that it's on separate days.

Prediction: So my prediction for the tournament is just who I think is gonna be in the finals. And this is purely biased because I want to see these two face each other once again. I want to see Ema Maishima and Kikyo Furusawa in the Finals of the Rookie Of Stardom Tournament. I know the match is quite predictable if you have seen STARDOM since January. I have a soft spot for these two especially since I have done articles and blogs on them and I haven't felt this happy to see wrestlers in a long time. I would be thrilled if I got this match, but it will probably never happy.
