DTC XI: One Last Tap, One Last Hope

BEFORE MAY 23rd (May 18th)
I have been preparing these Dynamic Thunder Connection blogs beforehand given at the time of writing, May 21st didn't hit yet. Or in my country if I have to be honest. If you find this blog in particular very confusing, then now you know why. I am also experiencing with different fonts on this website which is a nice change of pace to proceedings. 

So May 23rd will be another specify focused blog as Itoh Respect Army's Kikyo Furusawa will have a crack at Ranna Yagami for the Future Of Stardom Championship. I should really make a blog about Ranna Yagami's Future Of Stardom Title reign. I probably should wait until someone eventually beats her and have to watch her title win against HANAKO as well for that to happen.


AFTER MAY 23rd
Okay, so I just watched the Future Of Stardom Title match and there is a lot to talk about. I also watched during nighttime and I am way too tired to do a full on match breakdown of this. And it's also in the morning and FYI, 10 am is not early morning. It's the late morning at that point. 


I had quite a funny moment before the match. After watching Ema's match, I skipped straight to Kikyo's match, but I accidentally skipped to the ring instead of the entrance. Oopsie. Since Ranna Yagami's style is more mat based like her God's Eye teammates, it played a big theme into this match. 


Unfortunately for the Future Champion, Kikyo's current wrestling style is also mat based. Their styles really meshed well as they both brought the fire and intensity to proceedings. And I think that if this was closer to the 15 minute time limit clock, then it would be remember a lot better than the last two defenses.


Ranna Yagami targeted Kikyo Furusawa's left arm constantly while Kikyo constantly targeted the left leg for her signature Ankle Lock. Yagami would have the endurance and the fact that Kikyo's left arm being damaged to get out of it. Unlike the ASGQ title defense, Kikyo would keep finding her way to slip out and counter her holds.


Ranna Yagami would eventually lock in the Tae ROCk and Kikyo eventually gave up. Ranna Yagami retained the Future Of Stardom Championship after 10 minutes and 45 seconds.

I honestly don't know what the next episode of Dynamic Thunder Connection will be. These two continuous ones I planned ahead of time since they were many dates. I could make the next episode could focus on faction recruitments or establishment.


I should have explain this properly. Kikyo Furusawa is with Maki Itoh as Itoh Respect Gundan and they aim to become an official STARDOM faction. Which reminds me of the plot of Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger (Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger) for some reason. Ema Maishima is currently being targeted by AZM, Starlight Kid & Mei Seira to be recruited into NEO GENESIS.

I could do an episode focused on the next Korakuen Hall show, but I am unsure as to how to continue following both rookies' journeys. And I might do another Lady C focused piece. So now it's to breakdown the Korakuen Hall card that was announced.

I love the fact that I get to experience with loads of these fonts on this blogs, because I get to have a bunch of fun with everything.
