Happy Birthday To My Favourite Big Eater (Wakana Uehara)
I have been very busy with my life over the past few weeks that I find myself sleeping when I should not be tired at all. I have been trying to catch up with professional wrestling as much as I possibly can, but there is so much I can do. However, there is one post on X/Twitter that made me pick up my computer quicker than my stress level when I was 10 years old. And that is actually a good thing.
On the day that I am writing this, it's not Wakana Uehara's birthday due to a time-zone difference from where I live compared to her home in Japan. (The day of me doing this blog is May 12th. It's May 13th in Japan as I just checked the world clock, so it's her birthday now.) It's kinda funny how the world works
Since it is more of a quick fire post, so I will be more of a birthday card post. It sounds ironically, but is how it is sometimes. That and I have already done a background on Wakana Uehara's wrestling career last year in detail until she won the Princess Tag titles alongside Yuki Kamifuku, which is right here. So the achievement that Wakana Uehara are:
Thank you Wakana Uehara. Happy Birthday and I wish for you to have a great future in life and pro wrestling.

The Former Princess Tag Team Champion has had an interesting first 3 years as a professional wrestler. During that time, I found out about her through the app BlueSky and I became a fan of hers. It is quite uncanny given how I went into detail with that one in my only TJPW article on SickosClub.
It is interesting that out of all of the wrestlers I can be a fan of in Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, my favourite out of the company is someone who can eat so much. Like seriously, how can she eat that much food? I'm sorry if I sounded like a dickhead in that last statement, but it is quite remarkable that someone can eat that much while looking like model sent from the heavens.
(That is so embarrassing to say, but I will stand on that statement.)

So the achievement that Wakana Uehara are:
- Next Generation '23 Tournament Winner
- (1x) Princess Tag Team Champion alongside Yuki Kamifuku as Ober Eats
- Futari Wa Max Heart Tournament 2026 Winner
- Winning The Futari Wa Max Heart Tournament as Princess Tag Team Champion (I don't know if it counts with the last one.)
Why Do I Support & Love Her So Much?
Whenever I watch some shows from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, the negative part of my mind always asked myself this question. Why do I love her so much? Why do I put my energy into supporting her? I would have a complicated answer where I would write down an entire blog. But I have answer and that is Hope and Never Giving Up. It sounds very cheesy, but there is a reason for this. During an interview with Monthly Puroresu, Wakana was asked about the time that she lost her teeth before her tag title match with Kyoraku Kyomei (Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao). Her answer was this:
"When I lost my teeth, I was so devastated that I honestly thought I might never able to step into the ring again.
But then I remembered how professional wrestling had saved my life, how my fans were waiting for me, and how I still had a dream - to become a world superstar. I knew I couldn't give up here.
From that moment on, all I focused on was recovering in time for the tag team title match.
Having overcome that hardship, I feel like there's nothing left to fear."
It's that drive to realize you have a dream. That will to keep going and never give up is what makes her admirable in my eyes. She couldn't give up on her fans who supported her and the dream she set out for herself. When I read this interview, I felt emotions that I haven't felt for a while. What really made me love her from my heart was her message to fans to end the interview.
"Thank you always for your support!!
I was able to overcome the hardships and win the championship belts because of all your support!
There may be many tough and difficult things in life, but don't give up! Take it slow, at your own pace, even if it's just one small step forward. I believe that beyond the challenges, a bright future is waiting for you!"
