Lady C: The Wings Have Flown High To Heaven

Before The Artist Of Stardom Title Match

Hello everyone, and welcome back. I initially planned something different for my 50th blog entry. But I have decided to dedicate my 50th blog on Lady C once again. This will be follow up to the previous Lady C entry and article as its now a trilogy. 

However, this all depends on the outcome of the upcoming Artist Of Stardom title match between H.A.T.E.'s Konami, Rina & Fukigen Death defending against God's Eye once again, but with the combination this time being Ami Sourei, Hina & Lady C. This has been one change made from God's Eye side that faced H.A.T.E. in January as Ami Sourei replaces Tomoka Inaba. 

(I don't know why I am saying this like it's a sport day, but whatever.)

If God's Eye are able to win and capture the Artist Of Stardom titles, this will be a more positive blog entry. If God's Eye aren't able to win those Artist Of Stardom titles, this will be the same feeling of when I last talked about Lady C. Not positive, but with no particular rage.

After The Artist Of Stardom Title Match

Well. They did it. They fucking did it. Dream Trine beat H.A.T.E. to become the brand new Artist Of Stardom Champions. What makes this victory even better is that Lady C pinned Rina. Yes. You saw that right. Lady C got the win for the team which is an incredible moment. 

Even though I think this one wasn't as bang, bang, whoop, whoop as the match from January, there is an element of emotion that you can get from this. Especially from Lady C who has been positioned like Fukigen Death in the year of 2026. She has been doing Ned Flanders numbers in 2026 and it's honestly the best comparison I could come up with.

The match itself was good, but like I said before. It wasn't as action heavy with the team moves or multiple wrestler clusterfuck like the one in January though. That doesn't mean it doesn't differentiate from some of its parts. Hina was able to outsmart a double team counterattack to do her neckbreakers. The triple team submission in the centre. Fukigen Death actually stopping a big boot before her Death attack in the corner. (I do miss the occasion where Barb Sasaki would dodge Rina's spit attacks. I still remember that duck and weave.)

But the final stretch between Rina and Lady C was excellent. I thought we were going to end this with Rina and Hina, because Rina did pin Hina in the previous meeting. Instead it was Lady C finishing this off with Rina and it was probably the most emotional thing that I have watched in wrestling. I realized that it was the final stretch when Lady C wasn't tagged out and everything bit for me at that very moment. 

Tears were not only flooding my eyeballs, but they were flooding my cheeks man. I couldn't see my own screen sometimes and it was quite jarring to think about. When I saw Lady C kick out or she was saved by her partner from the Pink Devil, I was thinking that there is no way this is actually happening. The team saves really added to this. It's gonna take me a while to get Ami Sourei, because I barely know her.

Then it ends with one of the best underdog journeys to a title with the exception that there is a lot of underdogs in the history of many sports. Lady C hits the Zugyuuun and got the three count. Got the victory and snatched one of the best title wins I've seen in a long time.

This is very special that Lady C got the win because this is her first title win ever. Like it's 5 and a half since she debuted, so winning a title is a really big moment for her and her loyal supporters who've not only been there at the beginning and new fans like myself. I don't know if I count as a fan really. I was crying so much when she won this and I was a happy. Like I want to cry now which is why this is a big and powerful moment.

I think that is all I have for you guys today. This was quite a short and sweet one for the big 50th blog for this Journey's special. I am planning something for vlog 51st, but maybe I should wait a few days before the crying affect has worn off.
