DTC XV - Triple Thunderbolt #3: Advent Victory Complete!

I love Pro Wrestling. No matter how many times this sport can bring out the violent side out of me. No matter the amount of happiness and frustration this has brought to my life, tears where my mind was when I saw this. It takes a lot for me to cry in a wrestling match.

That is because I saw Kikyo Furusawa finally win a championship. It has been a whirlwind of emotions. Like Lady C broke my faucet when she won the Artist Of Stardom Title in May, 5 months back and now let's just get into it.

But first, Congratulations Akira Kurogane!

But firstly, I have to first congratulate Akira Kurogane. She teamed up with World Of Stardom Champion Suzu Suzuki against Neo Genesis' Starlight Kid and Ema Maishima. In this match, Akira got the pin on Ema. Albeit, it was a bit confusing since Ema got her shoulder up as the mat hit three.

That pin means that Akira Kurogane is officially part of Dynamic Thunder Connection. I know that it took longer than needed, especially when I was skipping out on certain parts, but she is officially part of the DTC blogs. Now let's keep moving.

The Historical Milestone

In the main event, history was made all over the gap. Maybe I should explain this differently. This was the first time that the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Titles were defended in the main event of a Korakuen Hall show. It's not the first time, but it's first main event for them.

This was also the first where one of the champions use to be a World Champion. Maybe it isn't the first time, but I don't think we have ever had a world champion while at the same time being a NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion.

The match itself was an emotional roller-coaster from start to finish. The crowd was very hot for this. Both teams actually had a good outing so many moves throughout that require both teammates within. Especially since I was screaming (with my inside voice) like an idiot whenever Kurara was in an Ankle Lock or Sakura in a Sleeper Hold.

The ending got me into a crying like a baby. Kikyo takes care of Kurara with a Reverse Olympic Slam. Both would hit The Captain with a Fuck You Stunner V (Double Teamed Stunner on One Person). Rian would finish it off with a Hanaguruma on Aya Sakura and got the 3 count.

The celebrations were definitely needed afterwards as Maki Itoh was already in the ring. And that image of Rian helping put on that NEW BLOOD Tag Belt around Kikyo's waist makes me so happy. 1 year and 5 months to the day of her debut, she wins her first title. I Love Kikyo Furusawa and I Love Pro Wrestling.

What's Next?

So what is next? Well, it's Tag League season. Next up is Goddesses Of Stardom Tag League, so I will keep following from there. The teams or the entire field isn't exactly announced, but we have a few teams made for the tournament. And surprisingly, it's not how you thought it would be.

The first team formed was Natsupoi and Rian, which is interesting and reminds of the dynamic that AJ Styles and Dragon Lee had. The second team is Kikyo Furusawa and God's Eye's Kiyoka Kotatsu. This is obviously a way to persuade Kotatsu to join IRG.

Another pairing which surprised me was that Starlight Kid is going to team with Maki Itoh. That is a surprising one. And another team made for the tournament is the team of Saori Anou and Fuwa-chan. And YES!!!!!!!!! The Best Friends (STARDOM version) is OFFICIAL!!

Coming up next! We take a trip to the VV689 System as we do a title reign that just ended. And that is the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Title reign of Sakurara. Goodbye.

Kind Regards,
ZERO (or Archer)

Marigold Files #1: Did Somebody Say Yoga? (La Vie en Rose's 3D Trios Championship Reign)

I won't lie... I have had a weird time just viewing wrestling for what it is for the past few months since December. I still love wrestling, don't get me wrong, but felt so restrictive and rage inducing in the past 10 months.  Credit: Dream Star Fighting Marigold I would always try to catch up on my shows. Whether that being Ring Of Honor or STARDOM, I always enjoy the show and switch my mind off things snarky, but I felt a bit empty and sad immediately following it.  It doesn't help that I have been behind shows and don't have enough willpower as I used it to drag myself to a lot of wrestling shows.  It was definitely overwhelming my brain as a result to try watching anything so I felt a bit dead inside. Credit: Wrestle Universe That feeling changed when I decided to re-subscribe... to Wrestle Universe. Wrestle Universe is a streaming service for multiple wrestling promotions. It started out as DDT Universe in 2016 from the promotion, Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) and thei...

A Beautiful Madness turned into US Bootleg Marceline (Giulia's WWE Women's United States Championship Reign)

[ZERO & Carbon x Moha Co-Production] This has been pissing me off for quite a while. Since I have watched the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, I have been more calm to do this than previous attempts. However, I have the temper within me to keep punching the wall every time. And trust me, if I can deal with CAF taking the absolute piss in that tournament, then I can do anything.  Credit: New Japan Pro-Wrestling But that is simply a different tangent for a different day. Today, I will be going through two title reigns as supposed to one title reign. And with the added premise of it all being focused on one wrestler And that is the "Beautiful Madness" Giulia.  The Former International Ribbon Tag Team Champion, Two-Time Artist Of Stardom Champion, Wonder Of Stardom Champion, Goddesses Of Stardom Champion, World Of Stardom Champion, NJPW STRONG Women's Champion, WWE NXT Women's Champion & Two-Time WWE Women's United States Champion. *ANYWAY* She has a very ba...

The Flame Of Heaven Burns (Dream Trine's Artist Of Stardom Championship Reign)

[ZERO x PAT x Knights Of C-Donia Production] Well... I didn't see that coming. With my most recent Dynamic Thunder Connection blog done, I have introduced Akira Kurogane as the newest member of the series for the duration of the 5★STAR. With that being the case, I fully expected to just dive into that.  However, STARDOM decided to do something that made me do impromptu stuff like a PPP TOKYO's Pole Dancing performances before their shows begin. Before I dive into this reign, I have to explain the context as to how the reign ended to giveaway for my post reign opinions.  However if I do miss anything, Pat and Uncle have to correct me more harder than Marge Simpson disciplining Homer Simpson at home. Also this reminds that The Simpsons has been going on for 38 seasons. That is impressive given how episodic that show is. How It Came To An End? On July 15th, STARDOM would do a livestream in promoting the 5STAR GP. It's one of those green screen ones, which they haven't done...
