Cinderella Swansong

SOOOOOOOOOOO... I was actually planning do something that is WWE related, but I decided to stop it, track back and talk about STARDOM. I have talked about STARDOM multiples on SickosClub.com before particularly on Ema Maishima and Kikyo Furusawa in 4 published articles while I have another two pieces in my own archive to use just in case. However, this is 2nd time I'm talking about something that is related to STARDOM on this page. You know, my own haven of some sort. The last time I talked about something that it was related to World Wonder Ring Stardom was when I was making the Tomoka Inaba which is available now and currently the most viewed blog on my Field Journey page so far. Thank you for that anyway. And for that I am going to feature people alongside the wrestler's name I'm gonna ramble so you all can see my knowledge or lack thereof and you can follow them online if you want.

Today, I'm going through every single participant in this Cinderella Tournament and talk about them. If you want to know, I have done this type of thing before where I was talking about last year's participants in the 5STAR GP and that really went well (that was sarcastic, but I haven't figured out how to write sarcasm yet). So I am going to the same thing here today and I hope you have fun or have good laugh at my knowledge. Unlike the 5STAR GP, the Cinderella is a single elimination tournament with 32 wrestlers, so this is going to be very long and the screenshot I have is all of their name is in Japanese, so... yeah. So ladies and gentlemen, allow me to ramble about all the participants in the Cinderella Tournament.

CINDERELLA TOURNAMENT - Participants:

Much like all tournament participants, we start with last year's winner which is...

Sayaka Kurara - Cosmic Angels:

  • 2025 Cinderella Tournament Winner
  • NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion

Sayaka Kurara is very interesting case as of right now at this current moment as she has been positioned as the next challenger for Saya Kamitani's World Of Stardom Championship, which is the top prize of the promotion. She's not the challenger officially, but she is gonna be the next challenger soon enough. One thing about Kurara to me is that she is fun wrestler, but I am confused by this latest turn of events. She has already challenged for the World Of Stardom Championship before and she got pinned before making the challenge to Kamitani so my brain is scrambled. I think that made me forget that she has to defend her Crown this year. Or since it's the tournament is called Cinderella, I should say Tiara.

Rina (ft. TG) - HATE (Harass, Abuse, Terrorize & Eradicate):

  • Artist Of Stardom Champion
  • 2025 Cinderella Tournament Runner-Up

Rina is last year's Runner-Up and has had a great outings against the likes of Starlight Kid, AZM, Konami, etc. She has become one of STARDOM's Top Prospects and is now the Artist Of Stardom Champion alongside Fukigen Death and at the time of writing, current Wonder Of Stardom Champion Konami. Rina has really made quite an impression on me as a wrestling fan and you can say that about every wrestler that has impressed a lot in the past until now. But since she is a part of HATE, I hope they PAY FOR ALL THE CRIMES THEY COMMITTED.

Hanan (ft. TG) - STARS:

  • 2024 Cinderella Tournament Winner

Hanan is someone who won the 2024 Cinderella and is a former Goddesses Of Stardom Champion. I always found that Hanan to have the most recognizable face out of the three sisters. It sounds weird and you can chastise me for it. Whenever I think of the three sisters, I think of Hanan instantly and I saw an edit of her old theme song once on X. Shoutout TG. She is a fun wrestler and seems like to be moving up the card soon, so she might win this whole thing, but I don't know. I predicted that Momo Watanabe wasn't gonna win the 5STAR last year and she won the whole thing, so let's wait and see.

Ami Sourei - God's Eye:

  • 2024 Cinderella Tournament Runner-Up

I'll be honest... I don't know anything Ami Sourei. I can't really give you an opinion about her, so let's just move on.

Saya Iida - STARS:

There are a lot of things that a wrestler can do to get my attention. What did Saya Iida do? She is so ripped that it's almost not human. The power of this is woman is unreal from the rest that I have seen. I will say that I do put Saya Iida in the Tomoka Inaba category which is a shameless plug to the most viewed one here. From the matches I have seen, she is a fun wrestler, but if I see more, my mind can change a lot.

Momo Kohgo - STARS:

Momo Kohgo is one wrestler that I think can be more fun as more than what she is now. She is a currently in the High Speed Division, but she is capable of bringing that energy when needed. My first exposure to Momo Kohgo was when she entered in the NJPW STRONG Women's Championship Tournament in 2023. I remember that she was chasing after the title as a promise that her and Willow Nightingale made. That led to my favourite video where Momo Kohgo confronts Giulia and it's funny how Giulia gets more at her as the vid goes. I wish to see Komomo aim high, but I don't think the semis will be the destination.

Yuria Hime - STARS:

The Lily of STARS, Yuria Hime enters the Cinderella Tournament for 2nd time in her career. I have perfectly describe Yuria Hime in STARDOM so far is that she is a slow burner. That doesn't she is bad, it just that she is slowly starting to win me over as a pro wrestler. However, since she uses the Devil's Kiss as part of her moveset and I hate that move for the life of me, I wish nothing, but best for her.

Bea Priestley - STARS:

Bea Priestley is someone that I didn't expect to be one of the few Gaikokujin to actually sign with STARDOM. When she returned to the promotion (and I  might be the only one), I thought that she would just be part of the 5STAR Grand Prix and signed to... idk... TNA or something. So when I saw the announcement that she has signed, I was genuinely shocked. But hey, it was a nice change of pace from the usual Japanese wrestler signing to an overseas promotion. What surprises me about this run in participants is that from the pictures I saw of her in 2019, she is a different type of character. This is Bea Priestley that I am used to while many aren't. But I do see making the semis. Either way, good luck Bea Priestley.

Natsupoi - Cosmic Angels:

As you gaze up into the beautiful sky, you will admire the million and millions of stars of the Cosmic Angels planet. Many different colonies. Each of them with different personalities that keep the balance and the universe left by the Cutest In The Universe. There is one fairy that has built the colony through discipline, struggle and 200 seconds. A woman who has transformed, no, EVOLVED herself into a Fairy. A woman who is the gravity defining sensation! What is Bye Poi? NATSUPOI!!

Saori Anou - Cosmic Angels:

There is a funny confession I have always kept when it comes to Saori Anou. She is someone who genuinely and I mean genuinely, she scared the absolute shit out of me. That expressionless or as I call it, the Demon Stare of Sucking Your Soul Out Of Your Body. She really petrified me to the point I had a nightmare once. I never thought that a women's wrestler can scare until I saw Saori Anou picture or video. I am not scared of her now as I have been seeing a lot of her outside of the ring videos and the fact that she once encouraged Maki Itoh to not be terrified of her at all. I think that she is one of the best wrestlers in the world and someone that I think that should be more than just a World Title challenger. But I don't make the rules here.

Yuna Mizumori - Cosmic Angels:

  • High Speed Champion

Yuna Mizumori is probably one of those wrestler who can make me smile regardless as to what I am going through. Willow Nightingale has that same affect as well, but Yuna Mizumori has always put the extra effort to everyone she has interacted with. She has had a successful year so far as she is the High Speed Champion and has had a V2 in terms of title defenses. Much like a lot of champions in tournament, she is likely gonna be beaten by someone who will challenge for the High Speed Title later in the year.

Aya Sakura - Cosmic Angels:

  • NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion

The last Cosmic Angels member in the tournament is the second co-holder of the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champions, Aya Sakura. If you have followed my X account, you will already know that I am starting to a fan of Aya Sakura. She has been having more decent start to 2026 as she feuded with Maki Itoh over the Kawaii Of Kawaii Championship and her fun matches on NEW BLOOD. I do see her getting further in the tournament, but I don't know if she will.

Saki Kashima - God's Eye:

I didn't mention this in my Tomoka Inaba report, when I was discovering STARDOM, Saki Kashima was one of the reasons I continued this path. Why? Simple. It was around the time when Saki Kashima was so scared of her now leader, Syuri. This was when Syuri was the World Of Stardom Champion and I honestly loved that feud and I remembered it like it was yesterday. It is quite sad that Saki Kashima will retire on April 26th, but thank you Kashima for everything.

Hina (ft. TG) - God's Eye:

Hina is honestly the only one of the three sisters that I actually forget about sometimes. She has been moving up the card in STARDOM lately this year after losing the Future Of Stardom Championship. At the time of writing, she will challenging Konami for the Wonder Of Stardom Championship and is a belt that is as an equal title to the top prize. Given that I have read both of the Feb 28th and Mar 1st cards, there might be a chance that Hina can dethrone Konami. If that doesn't happen, then the Cinderella Tournament is where she can earn another opportunity despite the stacked field at play.

Lady C {ft. (Pat) Lady C and Knights of C-Donia} - God's Eye:

I have written about Lady C before as I did focus article on her. This was a result of my X feed being so Japanese at one point that I didn't see much English comments and I couldn't escape her whenever I was on the app. I have grown to love her as a wrestler and I mentioned that she should be in a bigger spot than where she is as of right now. She has had underwhelming start in 2026 with her, Hina and Inaba failing to capture the Artist Of Stardom Titles (and I will be watching that match as soon as I can after this). She was gonna have a match with Sareee, but due to unfortunate circumstances, she ended up being replaced by Kikyo Furusawa. So far, Lady C really can't catch a break and seems like it won't be stopping any time. Let's look on the bright side, at least she will get a win before Kairi Sane does which is a crazy to even say out loud, ngl.

Tomoka Inaba (ft. Mihaawk) [JTO] - God's Eye:

I have already mention multiple times when I bring Tomoka Inaba. She is awesome. I think you can say that those 7 matches Mihaawk recommend made me have a much bigger impression on Tomoka Inaba. She has been one of the favourites to win the whole thing, but I am not gonna make any major predictions as of right now. YEE HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ranna Yagami - God's Eye:

To perfectly describe how I feel about Ranna Yagami, let me tell you in the form of a feud she was in. Last year, Koguma was trying to encourage Ranna Yagami to do her signature Kuma (Bear) taunt. This was probably one of the most entertaining feuds of that year and it was only match was hyped about when it was announced for that year's Supreme Fight which was the same night as Cosmic Angels vs Neo Genesis and Saya Kamitani vs Suzu Suzuki. Yagami is very fun wrestler, and that's all I have to say really.

Kiyoka Kotatsu - God's Eye:

There are so many people that I tend to remember when it comes to STARDOM, but except when it's Kiyoka Kotatsu. Kiyoka is probably the only person in God's Eye I forget is in the faction given that she really appears a few times a month when checking her match catalogue from November to now. The most that she appeared this year is in January. However, her combos when she is on the offence, they are really fast and kinda clean. But that's it.

Miyu Amasaki - Neo Genesis:

The only Neo Genesis member to be in this year's tourney as Kevin will be in her 5th Consecutive tournament. Since AZM will be in the UK and Starlight Kid & Mei Seira will be going overseas to Mexico to challenge Las Chicas Indomables (La Jarochita & Lluvia) for the CMLL World Women's Ta Team titles, Kevin has to be able to hold down the fort in Japan for Neo Genesis. Good luck, Kevin.

Rina Yamashita - Mi Vida Loca:

  • Super Asia Champion (ChocoPro)
  • BBW Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Sanae Takebayashi (Best Body Japan Pro-Wrestling)

You will not be surprised that the first time I saw Rina Yamashita was in GCW. It was clip I saw after her match against Tony Deppen at GCW What Is Your Choice? It was when Deppen did dramatic faint after giving him a kiss on the forehead. Besides that, I have learned through GCW that Rina Yamashita is crazy motherfucker. Former GCW Ultraviolent Champion; the longest reigning champion in that title's history and I was surprised to see her in STARDOM when Mi Vida Loca got formed last year. I am also surprised that she is even in the Cinderella Tournament. I feel like Rina Yamashita will be having tons of fun during this one, so fair play.

Akira Kurogane - Mi Vida Loca:

As expected, Akira Kurogane will be entering the Cinderella Tournament for the 2nd Consective year. She lost in the First Round last year to Ranna Yagami if you are wondering. Akira Kurogane really won me over with her tag team with Bozilla and that story arc really paid off with them making it to the Semi Finals of that year's Goddesses Of Stardom Tag League. At the time of writing, Akira Kurogane will be challenging HANAKO for the Future Of Stardom Championship. So she can potentially head to the tourney as Future Of Stardom Champion.

Fukigen Death - HATE (Harass, Abuse, Terrorize & Eradicate):

  • Artist Of Stardom Champion

It would be funny sight to see Fukigen Death gain the Tiara and that wish. She has had a career that spans all the way back to the late stage of All Japan Women until now. It is surprising for me that she is in the tournament, but it's fine. Sometimes, we need some fun matches to contrast the other shooters in tournaments. So having Death is fine, but since she is a HATE member... POLICE!!

Police Chef: "We Are The Police!"

Policemen: "WE ARE THE POLICE!!"

Police Chef: "The Police Of HATE!"

Policemen: "THE POLICE OF HATE."

Azusa Inaba (ft. Mihaawk) - HATE (Harass, Abuse, Terrorize & Eradicate):

  • Queen Of JTO Champion

From one sister to another as Azusa Inaba enters the Cinderella Tournament for the 2nd time which is something and made it past the first round against Rian. She seems to be facing a first round elimination this time around given the stacked field. And the only reason why I am predicting that is because she is a HATE member. I don't care if she is Tomoka's younger sister, she is apart of HATE so as a result, she has to pay for the crimes of giving a Thumbs Down to everyone.

Maki Itoh - Itoh Respect Army:

  • Kawaii Of Kawaii Champion

Who is the Cutest in the World? Itoh-Chan! Maki Itoh enters her first STARDOM tournament and it is the Cinderella. Given that she has quite the impression since arriving in STARDOM in January and created the Kawaii Of Kawaii Championship which is a title, which in terms of the lore, it spans all the way back to the Edo Period. That shit confused me a lot. The first time I saw Maki Itoh was in AEW and I saw her quite a lot in GCW especially when she was barely doing any Japanese dates. She is quite the character in STARDOM, especially when Maki feuded with Aya Sakura. I don't have a prediction for her, but I hope she does her best.

Kikyo Furusawa - Itoh Respect Army:

  • Silver Of Kawaii Champion

Who is the Second Cutest in the World? Kikyo-Chan! I have written about Kikyo Furusawa multiple times on many previous installments like her first match with Hanan, DTC I, DTC II, DTC III, and two other completed unreleased pieces in my own personal archive that I have to wait a while before releasing through other means. That was all alongside Ema Maishima as I have been doing a singles with each other, tag with and/or against each other or two matches that involve them for long piece. I really put a lot on my idea board both of them are included. Since Ema is injured right now, it seems like this is just gonna be the Furusawa show and it has been a whirlwind of events. She has faced Saori Anou, Saya Kamitani, Starlight Kid, being the substitute for Lady C against Sareee. Like it hasn't been one year and she has faced this caliber of names. I hope she does show out in this tournament even though I know that she won't win.

Xena:

I won't lie, besides a few matches, I don't really have an opinion on Xena. So let's just move on.

HANAKO:

  • Future Of Stardom Champion

HANAKO is the final champion in this year's Cinderella Tournament as she is at the time of writing, the Future Of Stardom Champion. She will defend the prize against Akira Kurogane of Mi Vida Loca. HANAKO is always funny to see given that height makes the size difference in the matches she's in kinda funny. I don't mind her as a wrestler, but I know that she isn't everyone's cup of tea or cup of food since I'm almost done with these participants.

Waka Tsukiyama:

Waka Tsukiyama is probably someone I have heard the most when discovering STARDOM in English. I remember hearing her voice when she was on commentary in the bout between Mayu Iwatani and Sareee for the IWGP Women's Championship. As a wrestler, she is... fine. I don't get bored of her at all and she has some fun facial expressions and quotes you can use for memes.

Rian:

There are a lot of wrestlers that can leave a compelling impact whether they win or lose a match and Rian has an effect on a lot of people that she has developed a fanbase called the Rianators. She has been a lot more of an underdog wrestler, but what makes her standout is that she is willing do or create unique moves that add a twist to more traditional wrestling maneuvers. She really is a great wrestler that can be reliable for any roster in the world. She lost to Azusa Inaba in the First Round of last year's Cinderella Tournament and looks to be heading further or eliminated in the first round.

Anne Kanaya:

Anne Kanaya is a rookie I saw after she got back from her injury in December. She is someone that always seemed to be amped up a lot which gets a chuckle out of me. She seemed to destined to join the Cosmic Angels soon and that's it.

Fuwa-chan:

Fuwa-chan has really made an impression on me since she joined STARDOM as full-time wrestler. She has probably the best Shining Wizard in the wrestling world today and really seems to be committed with wrestling. Fuwa-chan will be entering her first wrestling tournament in this year's Cinderella Tournament. I don't know how far she is going to go this year, but I hope she can make the best outing of her time.

Tabata - CMLL:

The last person to round up the participants is Tabata from CMLL. Tabata will be entering the tournament for the second time while on tour with India Sioux and Kira in STARDOM as part of the official partnership between STARDOM and CMLL. She was doing a STARDOM tour last year before the CMLL official partnership and made it to the Second Round before losing to the tournament runner-up Rina. I don't really know much about Tabata to give an opinion, so that is the end of the statement.

Aftermath:

I think I was able to ramble about everybody here and if I didn't, I will change it later because I am tired as hell right now. Like I said at the beginning, this wasn't meant to be blog post, but I decided to change my plans to include this and I think I should sleep. Just to be clear, you don't have read this all the way through. You can just look at the wrestler you like and end it there. You don't have to waste your time or read it on your spare time.
