Cinderella Swansong: The Survival Death Gate

I never thought that I would make a follow up blog for the Cinderella Tournament, but then again, I didn't expect myself to do so many blog post in less than a month. Hello my friends and welcome to my follow up blog on the Cinderella Swansong series. Unlike the first Swansong and Battle Grid, I will try to keep this one as brief as possible given that I have not much to say. I have been watching the Cinderella Tournament and it has been an interesting tournament to say the very least. So I don't know how to clearly do this, but I will put my usual match ratings as well as giving my experience of watching these past three shows. I'll just have make it up as I go, but please bear with me on this.


Cinderella Tournament - Day 1 (March 6)

  • High Speed Champion Yuna Mizumori vs Rian (7:44) - ★★★1/4
  • NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion Sayaka Kurara vs Artist Of Stardom Champion Fukigen Death (4:47) - No Rating as it is not over 5 minutes
  • Waka Tsukiyama vs Ranna Yagami (7:15) - ★★3/4
  • Natsupoi vs Tabata (8:45) - ★★★1/4
  • Future Of Stardom Champion HANAKO vs Yuria Hime (9:59) - ★★★1/4
  • Kawaii Of Kawaii Champion Maki Itoh vs Silver Of Kawaii Champion Kikyo Furusawa (13:07) - ★★★★1/4 
  • Saori Anou vs Fuwa-chan (10:56) - ★★★3/4
  • Hanan vs Momo Kohgo (11:37) - ★★★★

If I have to describe this show, it was an easy watch. Sure when it comes to having a tournament that is a single elimination tournament, you wouldn't want to start fine, but it seemed like it works given the reputation of the tourney. It had a mix of things you might like, when my favourite bouts being Itoh v Kikyo and Hanan v Kohgo in the main event. 


Cinderella Tournament - Day 2 (March 7)

  • Tomoka Inaba vs Anne Kanaya (7:12) - ★★★1/4
  • Lady C vs Queen Of JTO Champion Azusa Inaba (8:07) - ★★★3/4 
  • Saya Iida vs Kiyoka Kotatsu (7:25) - ★★★1/4
  • Hina vs Xena (10:32) - ★★★★
  • Miyu Amasaki vs Rina Yamashita (6:40) - ★★★1/2
  • Saki Kashima vs NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion Sayaka Kurara (6:46) - ★★★1/4
  • Akira Kurogane vs Artist Of Stardom Champion Rina (12:37) -
  • Bea Priestley vs Ami Sourei (11:28) - ★★★1/2

This show felt like a good response to the first show as the opening match between Tomoka Inaba and Anne Kanaya set the tone for the entire show. Lady C losing is disappointing given that I did a follow up blog before this, but her match with Azusa was fun. Hina and Xena was the match that I didn't expect to be as good as it was. I did like the unique twist to some of the match and the teases of the Over The Top Rope aspect makes the most fun show from the tournament so far for me. 


Cinderella Tournament  - Day 3 (March 8)

  • Hanan vs Ranna Yagami (7:43) - ★★★1/4
  • Natsupoi vs Rian (10:40) - ★★★1/2
  • Hina vs Queen Of JTO Champion Azusa Inaba (12:51) - ★★★1/2
  • NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion Sayaka Kurara vs Tomoka Inaba (12:44) - ★★★★1/4

Day 3 of the Cinderella Tournament is summed up by a combination of things. I watched late at night and I was continuously getting so tired that at one point, I had to basically slap myself like Syuri to stay awake. As well as I had to pause in between matches as I had feeling under the weather and had a massive headache which added to the fatigue. So I didn't have the best time watching and it could've been different if I saved it for the following day. The previews tags are fun, I liked the tournament bouts and the most talked about bout I've seen from is Kurara and Tomoka. I don't know if it's just me, but I knew Miyu Amasaki was gonna win that main event when I saw it in the main event slot.



Post: That is all I have for the latest addition of the Cinderella Swansong. I think this might the final one for now, especially since I am not quick when it comes to wrestling shows. But I will keep following the Cinderella Tournament as All Star Grand Queendom is drawing closer to the horizon. I hope you have a great time and a delicious sweet. See you soon.

Cinderella Swansong

SOOOOOOOOOOO... I was actually planning do something that is WWE related, but I decided to stop it, track back and talk about STARDOM. Lady C: The Wings Screamed

Okay, I have a few things to say before I get into this fully with this 10th blog. It won't be a long blog, which is what I usually say. I was initially going to save this blog until after the Cinderella Tournament concluded, but much like my Lady C, My Beloved article: "Fuck It" and let's do it anyway.
