P.P.P. Platinum Anniversary ~ The Dragon's God Festival ~ (Preview)

This is honestly my most unorthodox blog post that I have come up with in quite a while. This is variety of things that warrant a good reaction out of me, but this has a more of a weird and confusing feeling. Today, I will be making my personal preview and predictions for P.P.P. TOKYO. If you are unfamiliar with this promotion, that is okay. I have sort of covered them in the past when I talked about Chanyota.

P.P.P. TOKYO as a promotion is an interesting case to look through. The promotion itself seemed to be more of an adult theme like element in comparison to most promotions I've seen. I know wrestling itself tend to have more adults than kids who are dedicated fans. What I'm referring to is the theme of the shows I have seen. I remember this moment in the tag team match where Chanyota and Echika Miyavi took on Sumire Natsu and Marika Kobashi. 

 Each individual entrance, they were accompanied by two women in sexy bunny outfits. It's kinda strange much the bout following it, but if it works, it works. They also have pole dancing on some of their show which is probably the most self explanatory thing that I have said in a blog this year. And has a very funny recruiting system of wrestlers. 

For today's blog, I am going to be talking the card that is announced for their Platinum Anniversary show. I am also going to make predictions. It's the same formula as my blog that I made in which previewed STARDOM's All Star Grand Queendom show. So sit back and relax for my preview on P.P.P. Platinum Anniversary ~ The Dragon's God Festival ~. 

(This will probably be the most disjointed one because there is no particular card order that I have found from P.P.P. TOKYO themselves so I'll do my best with the cards I have.)

Non Toraga vs ZONES

The only non-title singles match on the show is Non Toraga vs ZONES. ZONES has been hitting quite a stride on the independent scene since leaving EVO in March. Non Toraga is someone that I have been keeping an eye on since her debut in December and it seems like she adapted to pro wrestling quite well. I am going to predict that ZONES beats Non Toraga in this one.

Sawa Munenori vs Kazutaka Sawaki - Anywhere Fall Match

Okay. So this was a doozy to understand when I saw this as part of their announced cards. We will have Sawa Munenori vs Kazutaka Sawaki in a... Anywhere Fall match. I don't know both of these guys at all. However, given the visual of Sawa Munenori with the glasses being worn in a slight position, I'm going to assume this is going to be very comedic. Honestly? Yeah. Goofy Wrestling For Life. I really like Goofy Wrestling. It does have a place in the professional wrestling, and it might be fun. I am predicting that Kazutaka Sawaki walks away with the victory.

Beast Murayama & So Daimonji vs Shuji Kondo & Kabuto Mitomi

Another fight in which I don't know who are the fighters. I will say that Kabuto Mitomi's mask reminds me of Joe Higan's mask in the anime, Ninja Kamui. I do like these kind of matches in wrestling because it not furthers stories to big bouts and you get see your favourite wrestlers if you are fans of any of these wrestlers. I am predicting Shuji Kondo and Kabuto Mitomi to get the victory and yes, it's mainly because of cool Mitomi's mask is.

Yukimitsu Takahashi & Joji Otani vs CIMA & Kentaro Hachisu

On the April 12th Party Soul show, Kentaro Hachisu said that he will bring a マブダチ (Mabudachi) of his for the tag team match against P.P.P. Emperor Of Party The Moment Champion Yukimitsu Takahashi and Joji Otani. His partner is CIMA, who is someone I know of and has made a legacy with the world of Puroresu and overseas. I don't know how this will turn out, so it has a layer of intrigue. Who am I forgetting? Oh yeah, the other two. Yukimitsu Takahashi is someone I don't really know as well.

Joji Otani however, is someone that is not well liked when I searched his name on the Cagematch files. So I searched on Google and I see why he is hated. All I have to say is to just search his name and come back to me with your reaction. My prediction for this is CIMA and Kentaro Hachisu since this will probably the case.

Utami Hayashishita & Riara vs Sumire Natsu & Marika Kobashi

During the press conference for the main event, the mystery partner of Riara was revealed to be Utami Hayashishita from Dream Star Fighting Marigold. This will be one of Utami Hayashishita's last fights as a contracted wrestler to Marigold. Her and Riara will be facing Sumire Natsu and Marika Kobashi. And this is the second match on the card that I know everyone here. This isn't the first time I've seen Natsu and Kobashi (no relation) team up before, and mentioned that in my Chanyota blog.

This leads me to fact that Sumire Natsu and how she fits with the promotion. Although, I do find this Marika Kobashi combo to be quite a mixed bag. I am not really hyped for this bout as you thought I was. I think that the last tag match I've seen from Sumire Natsu and Marika Kobashi dampens my hype for it. My prediction is that Utami Hayashishita and Riara will get the win.

Echika Miyavi vs Chanyota - P.P.P. Venus Of Party The Women's Championship

Singles Record: 1 - 0 Chanyota

The main event will see P.P.P. TOKYO crown their first P.P.P. Venus Of Party The Women's Champion. It will be the second title brought into the company on the women's side as it will be Echika Miyavi vs Chanyota to crown the first company. The match was announced on March 10th after Miyavi and Takumi Iroha beat Chanyota and MIRAI. These two have faced each other in tag team matches and had one singles match against each other in the past.

This is the most interesting for obvious reasons, but another reason is who will win this match. Both women have a good case to be the first champion, but Chanyota has a slight chance to get the edge over Echika Miyavi with their only singles win. I think watching them in other wrestling promotions including their own leaves me with a final verdict. I think that Chanyota will become the first Venus Of Party The Women's Champion.
