Spirit Engulfed in Muscles (Chanyota)

You guys want to know how it feels when I prepared an entire introduction on this blog and when I booted up this computer after having good night sleep, everything was gone. From the title to what I already written down, it was all gone and now I have to do this all again from scratch. *sign* Well... didn't expect that coming. Anyway, welcome my friends to another wrestler focused blog. We are taking a trip to another wrestling promotion as we look through the roster of P.P.P. TOKYO and the wrestler who will be the focus is the user of the Erotic Hammer, Chanyota. And this is more of a personal story for this one. Okay everybody, let's roll with it.

CHANYOTA - EROTIC STONE DIFFICULTY

  • Age: 29 years old
  • Promotion: P.P.P. TOKYO
  • Trainers: None That I could find
  • Stables: None as of now
  • Nicknames: None
  • Signature Moves: Erotic Hammer (Jackhammer)

Over a year and a half ago, I was scrolling on my X/Twitter page and saw a promotional graphic from P.P.P. TOKYO for their upcoming YouTube show after seeing a man who I thought was Kento Miyahara. Much like any normal curious person, I was scrolling on their YouTube page and something caught my eye. It was their short lived 5 episode series called English Commentary Watch Party. It is a show where the host, Echika Miyavi and other wrestlers watch past matches and review them while speaking English for 85% of course. My favourite episode is Episode 4 which had Echika Miyavi, Chanyota and Larhvan from Singapore's Grapplemax. It is a very charming episode and I found it very fun.

Chanyota is a wrestler who is very easy to describe as she is a Powerhouse wrestler. That is the style she has which I see as a standard given that Puroresu is known from a general point of view as a hard hitting style. But having that type of style isn't bad thing as it could be the base for many wrestling stories. As usual, I will put down all of the matches I have seen from Chanyota and as well as the ratings like the other previous ones like Tomoka Inaba and Maya Yukihi. Got it? Good. Let's Go.

CHANYOTA - SHINE or SUFFER in CHARACTER

  • Chanyota vs Maika Ozaki (8:06)
  • 13/08/2023
  • P.P.P. TOKYO
  • P.P.P. Summer Night Beer Party
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Shining Extends Her Character
  • ZERO: ★★★1/4
Possibly the most whimsical take on Chanyota matches that I have seen so far. About as whimsical as you think. This is surprisingly shortly with Chanyota winning the most devastating move in all of sports entertainment, the surprise rollup.
  • Chanyota vs Ryo Mizunami (13:46)
  • 09/01/2024
  • P.P.P. TOKYO
  • P.P.P. The New Year Glory ~ Glorious Feast
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Suffering Builds Character
  • ZERO: ★★★★
Okay. This one is a bit of cheat of an entry, because this match comes from English Commentary Watch Party #4. The match is in full and it was a really fun match that I would recommend anyone to watch if you want fun.
  • Chanyota & ZONES vs Saya Iida & Ryo Mizunami (19:55)
  • 10/09/2024
  • P.P.P. TOKYO
  • P.P.P. Splash Carnival ~ Banquet - Liberation Front
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Suffering Builds Character
  • ZERO: ★★★★3/4
This match is the best match on the list here. Honestly, Chanyota wasn't really the best one here. Saya Iida, Saya Iida and Ryo Mizunami stole the show here while Chanyota was primarily eating a lot of shit until that amazing closing stretch she had with Saya Iida. However, it takes two to tango in wrestling or in this case, it takes four.
  • Chanyota vs Nanae Takahashi (16:49)
  • 06/02/2025
  • P.P.P. TOKYO
  • P.P.P. Treasure And Party ~ When The Door To Dreams Open
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Suffering Builds Character
  • ZERO: ★★★★1/4
A really good match that was predictable the moment I saw who was Chanyota's opponent on this show. I can never look at Nanae Takahashi the same ever again, because I remember interacting with TG one time and he called her Nanae Hogan. Which is reference to Late wrestler Hulk Hogan going into business for himself every time in his career. Honestly, after seeing a lot of results, it hilariously adds up a lot.
  • Lluvia (c) vs Chanyota (9:43)
  • 27/04/2025
  • Wrestling Freelance Shows In Japan
  • CMLL-Japan Women's Championship Match
  • Lucha Fiesta Especial
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Suffering Builds Character
  • ZERO: ★★3/4
This match was really a mess in different ways that are unfortunate. The video that I was watching from on YouTube consistently switches from the TV broadcast to cameras that you usually see if you watch the P.P.P. TOKYO bouts which made this horrible to watch from start to finish. And action... was really mismatched. I don't know what happened, but it literally seemed like they didn't click at all and it makes the camera problem even worse. Definitely a swing and a miss.
  • Chanyota & Echika Miyavi vs Sumire Natsu & Marika Kobashi (15:40)
  • 14/08/2025
  • P.P.P. TOKYO
  • P.P.P. Fan Appreciation Festival
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Suffering Builds Character
  • ZERO: ★★★3/4
Okay. This bout is really strange. Firstly, there is a music instrunmental playing in the background through this entire match and it's really distracting once you notice. Also the crowd really was behind Miyavi who in my opinion, was the best in this match. What keeps this from being ranked higher is the fact that Echika Miyavi got pinned by Sumire Natsu. ... That really sucked the air out of the room when that happened, because why was it needed? But then again, it's P.P.P. TOKYO... nothing makes sense.
  • Non Toraga vs Chanyota (9:45)
  • 09/12/2025
  • P.P.P. TOKYO
  • P.P.P. Galaxy Revolution ~ Dreamlike Feast
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Shining Extends Her Character
  • ZERO: ★★★1/4
This is kinda funny because of the build up. Non Toraga makes her debut as she comes from a background of being a former Japanese AV star or in other words, a former Pornstar. The reason why I am blunt with it is simply because outside of Japan, no one really knows what AV actress means. I thought it was an Advanced Voice acting or some shit until I searched for the definition AV actor. I am not gonna go further, also Chanyota is also from that industry and this blog is about her, so what can I say. This match was actually surprising as it was technical and Toraga really seems to be someone who will rise up the ranks very soon if this kind of consistency continues this year. Good debut match and yeah.
  • MICHIKO, Aoi & Marika Kobashi vs Yuna Manase, Chanyota & Blankey Maho (7:37)
  • 10/01/2026
  • GLEAT
  • GLEAT Ver. 23
  • SHINE or SUFFER: Shining Extends Her Character
  • ZERO: ★★★
Back to the last one for today as we take a trip to the GLEAT promotion. A six woman tag team match as all of the women make the most of the 7 and half minutes that they have on their plate. It's just a party match and who doesn't love a match where everyone sits down and just have fun watching wrestling.

Okay... this was one of the funniest blogs that I have done so far. Honestly, it was sad that I had to start from scratch, but then again, I am written a lot to the point I completed a book so this shit was really easy.

However, next time, we will be taking a trip back to STARDOM as the focus will be on someone who I have mentioned multiple times on my social media. Yes, the next wrestler focused blog will be on the current double champion. The Spark Joshi World & CMLL-Japan Women's Double Champion, HAZUKI!!

Kind Regards,

ZERO (or Archer)
