DTC VII: Destin Upon The Four Hour

There are a lot of things that I have had the pleasure of viewing in my life on Earth and wrestling is one of them. Recently, STARDOM had their Semifinal matches of the Rookie Of Stardom 2026 and it was two really good matches. I will give a brief description in a second, but I am happy as a high on... something. Yes. Something.

These two matches were the final stop until the big final on April 11. Ema Maishima and Yuria Hime were the first of our two semis, while Kikyo Furusawa and Akira Kurogane were the latter that followed up. The strange thing about this tournament is that it has a time limit for their semifinal bouts. I understand why, especially given there is also a Future Of Stardom Title shot at the end of the title. It did make the matches more intense because once the 10 minute call is made, it's a race against the clock.

Ema Maishima vs Yuria Hime (13:10) - ★★★★1/4

This match is not as talked about as much as the others, but I still think it should because it is a really good bout. Hime really has been surprising throughout this tournament from her match against Anne Kanaya and now here. This was also a surprising one as I thought that Yuria Hime would win here seeing that she has had major opportunity and Ema just got back from injury. But no, Ema won and advanced to the final after using variation of the La Casita to get the pin. I was over the moon when I saw that.

Kikyo Furusawa vs Akira Kurogane (13:52) - ★★★★3/4

This match was the best fight in the tournament so far, and it's gonna be hard to top that with the final coming up on April 11th. The match started with a slow aggressive pace as both are trying to take out each other's limbs. After 5 minutes, Furusawa saw an opening and attack the left leg. From there, the bout entirely shifted. Kikyo kept attacking the leg and it affect the match. What surprises me about the most is the end. Kikyo won the bout with the Navarro Death Roll Ankle Lock to get the submission. It was rare for her to pull out that weapon in her offence. Last I remember, she used that to beat Ema Maishima in their third singles meeting at NEW BLOOD.

Post: So that is all I have for this edition of Dynamic Thunder Connection. It is actually a short for today. So I hope you have a good day and I'll see you whenever I can. (Also I had to make this quick because I fell asleep and I need to get ready for work and improvise, so yeah.)
