The Trailblazer: Alexander Barclay #3 - Rocking The Red, White & Blue (FIFA 16 My Player Mode)

The amount of the episodes from last time is crazy. The last episode about the Alexander Barclay My Player Mode was a really good way of integrating more episodes in one blog. Let's hope that this one will have more, but if it can't, then that is completely fine.


Episode 4: National Team Call-Up
The episode starts with Barclay heading to the airport. Before then, he had a league game with Portsmouth away from home against Crawley Town. In the 35th minute, Barclay went for a Bicycle Kick which got saved by Milinkovic-Sav. Skip ahead to the 53rd minute where Barclay does a brilliant through ball to teammate and smashes on the left side. It's 1 - 0 to the visitors. In the 78th minute, Barclay does a brilliant run from the edge to the outside of the box. Unfortunately, Barclay's run came to a complete halt as he seemed to have pulled a muscle.


It was minor and he got substituted in the 87th minute. He wouldn't be selected in the next game as Portsmouth would beat Gillingham in a J Paint Trophy Cup match by 5 - 4 on Penalties after 1 - 1 result. It's the International Break as Alexander Barclay would get called up to play for the USA National Team. He wouldn't play the first game where Poland won 2 - 0 against them. However, he would be selected for the next game against China PR. (And people say that games back then weren't political, oh please.)


The first national team game was treated with grandeur, so I'll say the full starting eleven. The lineup is Deric (GK), Rodgers (LB), Hedges (CB), Cameron (CB), Franklin (RB), McCarthy (CDM), Zusi (LM), Bedoya (RM), Trapp (CAM), Barclay (ST), and Altidore (ST). China PR's starting eleven are: Zeng Cheng (GK), Jiang Zhipeng (LB), Mei Fang (CB), Feng Xiaoting (CB), Zheng Linpeng (RB), Zheng Phi (CM), Cai Huikang (CM), Liu Jianye (CAM), Yu Hanchao (LW), Sun Ke (RW), Yu Dabao (ST). 


It didn't take long for things to get going as in the 15 minute, Yu Badao scores a really good header from a cross by Yu Hancho. The games amps up from there with many shots until the end of the half. 17 minutes into the second half, Barclay made a run so Altidore gives him a through ball and scores a good goal to tie up the game. Substitution was made in the 84th minute is when Gyasi Zardes came on for Cozy Altidore. Everything would get intense in the 90th minute as after a lot of passes, Barclay bangs a shot into the Top Left Corner to get the game winner for the United States Of America. (Maybe they'll get the Inter Miami treatment at the White House.)


He would get substituted during added time as the video ends. This is only the beginning for the American Legend.


Post: Wow. This was a really fun episode. I never thought that I would have this much fun writing about the 4th episode of a 167 episodic season a long running web series. SOOOOOOOOOOO... I was actually planning do something that is WWE related, but I decided to stop it, track back and talk about STARDOM.
